Executive Food And Wine Education a First For Ehrenberg-Bass Institute

For the first time, the University of South Australia’s Ehrenberg-Bass Institute is offering executive education in food and wine marketing. Enrolment is now open for two state-of-the- art courses taught by global marketing experts.

In the intensive five-day courses, Premium Food & Wine Marketing (July 2018) and Wine Marketing (September 2018), participants will be immersed in the latest evidence-based knowledge about marketing food and wine.

Associate Professor Armando Maria Corsi has designed the courses to focus on how industry can put cutting-edge academic research into practice to successfully grow food and wine brands.

Both courses feature guest lectures from industry experts and a full-day study tour in one of South Australia’s iconic food and wine regions.

“These courses recognise and embrace Australia’s fantastic natural resources when it comes to food and wine,” Associate Professor Corsi says, “but there is a lot to learn about best-practice marketing.

“We will be sharing practical knowledge on how to grow your brands, both in the Australian market and internationally.”

UniSA Professor of Wine Marketing Larry Lockshin agrees.

“This is a unique opportunity to learn from decades of research that has been conducted by marketing scientists at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute,” he says.

“You’ll have top researchers and practitioners teaching you best-practice and how to develop effective marketing strategies.”

The courses cover a broad range of topics including the way consumers choose products in-store, the place and importance of online and social media management, sensory analysis and events management.
