Katherine Anderson 2004 Ehrenberg Scholar

Katherine Anderson was selected as the 2004 Ehrenberg Scholar, on the strength of her academic record, extracurricular activities and community involvement. She graduated in 2003 from Trinity College (Gawler) with a Tertiary Entrance Rank of 99.7 and perfect scores in 3 subjects. She was also awarded Dux of Trinity College, a number of subject prizes and a Federal Government Australian Students Prize.

Katherine was an active participant in track and field athletics, music and debating, as well as being a College Prefect. Katherine has been recognised by the Lions Club, Gawler Council and Zonta Women for her service to community through Scouts Australia, Royal Life Saving Society and Duke of Edinburgh Scheme.

Whilst studying at UniSA, Katherine has been a UniSA Student Ambassador, promoting marketing programs and scholarships. She has earned a Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award and is currently working on her Gold Award. Katherine also has a keen interest in public policy and politics. She is currently President of the UniSA Liberal Club and Vice-President of Wakefield Young Liberals.

Katherine has also worked as a research assistant at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute since 2004 assisting with R&D, academic and contract research.

Katherine has won a number of other prizes whilst at university. She was awarded the 2004 Gerard Corporation / Duke of Edinburgh Scholarship and has been awarded prizes for marketing courses. She has been a member of the Division of Business Dean’s Merit List and the Chancellor’s Merit List since 2004. She has also been selected to take part in the 2006 AADC Mentor Program.

Katherine spent part of her degree studying in Denmark and also completed an internship with Time Magazine in London.

Katherine is now working as a Research Associate with the Institute.
